        You can create a game with Fuze, however you can not sell the game or post it to the Nintendo Switch store. The game will be stuck inside Fuze, which means if you share it other people who own Fuze can play it, but they'll have to own Fuze to play it.

          And they will get your source code and there is nothing to stop them modifying it and sharing it on. It is the ultimate in open source!

                What you lot should do is keep an eye on the uploads for anything that's really good. Block the upload and make a publishing deal with the creators and use the profits to fund future Fuze updates. Jokes aside, there's probably some rule against doing that and it's against everything Fuze was intended to stand for so it doesn't seem likely.

                  Fuze is a good choice for many use cases where you want to create games on the Switch. But if you want to make money doing so, then I think you need to put in the extra effort and investment to do so. That means you need a more professional development environment, get past the steeper learning curve learning all the technologies involved, and organize that you get into the Nintendo store.

                  To put it bluntly, if you are creating games in Fuze in it's current state, I think you need to be fine with the assumption that your game helps sell copies of Fuze, in stead of making you money. I don't think you need to agree with your game being used in marketing ( @pianofire is the user agreement to use Fuze available somewhere online? I totally... forgot what was in it..), but indirectly your game would in any case be part of the marketing (since you need Fuze to play it)

                      I've said this on the forum before, but I think it's valid so I'll say it again: Fuze is a game creation system (GCS) like ZZT/Megazeux, RPG Maker, Dreams, and so forth-- more like a super glorified level editor than Unreal Engine or something.

                      So just like those other products I mentioned, treat Fuze as something relaxing to tinker with on an afternoon after a long day's worth of work, not something you'd publish a commercial game with. Or at least that's how I look at it.

                      That said, there were a small handful of commercial STOS/AMOS games I think back in the day-- but that was very much the exception.
