Is there any NFC reading function on the road map?

Is data import to a Nintendo Switch application in general a no-go, or is it just the internet communication that is restricted?
Amiibo's are imported over NFC, the reader is on the joycon.
a) NFC card emulation since Android 4.4 or
b) write your own NFC Tag stickers with TagMo app

...hmm when I think this over, somewhere we already had this discussion, I think its because of possible inappropriate material?
So, you can sell additional contents with Amiibo? Hmm.. I see no real business case, maybe its at least fun to read about it.
