a nod to the greatest shooter of them all 'Defender'. Shooting red spawners will drop 4 very fast and very deadly spores now.

Invincible 'Recognisers' now added, they change the gameplay a bit as they can shield the enemy from your shots!
                (idea from Martin, thanks!)

Not yet but hopefully it'll be finished soon-ish as there's not a ton left to do.

Image of the enemies for level 1-24 (25 is the last level and is a boss fight)

OMG! The Burger Time sausage! And the Ladybug bugs! I love those!

Great job with the sprites. Really, really nice...

Little clip to show you. First it shows a bit of level 24 (Missile Command sprite) and then it goes to level 25 which is the last level.
Part 1 is a battle with all the sprites you've fought already but this time they are bigger, faster and tougher.

                            Part 2 coming soon.

Question for those more intelligent than me, is there a way to offset the sprite collision shapes?

I have this 73x73 sprite and as you can see the image is at the top (it's that size because it rotates and the center of the sprite is the rotation axis)

                                  collide.png

But if the collision shapes are all centered on the sprite, no idea how I can have the collision shape in the purple bits only? any ideas?

You can change the origin for the entire sprite if that helps?

Endgame boss is the iconic Evil Otto from one of my most fave games, Berzerk!
You have to shoot through two eroding barriers and then lower his shields before killing him.

I see several things, that took probably a lot effort, also to fine tune; and at the same time fit very well to a consistent style, to me: sound fx, the shooting, the rotating of several overlaying sprites.. cant wait to give it a go :-)
