No, I never plan big because I can never manage to finish anything. This is because I always take on stuff that I don't know how to do and is technically very challenging. It takes me a while to work out how to do it, that's the fun of it for me and once I've worked out the how I very rarely follow it through and actually complete it.

I'm hoping with Fuze this will be very different. The "how" should be much less of a barrier and I should be able to concentrate much more on the creative side of things...

@Martin Well said. I can definitely empathize with that feeling. Surmounting the hill of challenge provides more of a dopamine rush than tackling hours of the busywork that follows. That's part of the reason I try to lay my goalposts in a spot that is focused but, most importantly, simple.

That's not to say that the extravagant debuts are without merit. I've read that Eric Barone, the talented creator behind Stardew Valley, created the game as a strategy to learn C#. Perhaps some of the other users on this forum may be more inspired by this philosophy rather than the one we roughly share.

I myself have a idea I truly want to make to happen and like Martin I tend to never finish because I never finish but this time is one of those moments I want to make happen. That's the goal I promised myself after I heard this finally got a release date

If copyright isn't an issue, then I want to port over my Mega Man 2 PTC project.

Due to the switches portable nature and the fact that the joycons hardware is supported by Fuze I was thinking of possibly making a set of utilities that make use of these hardware features. I will play around with the different inputs on release and decide what direction I'll take the project from there.

@Discostew I hope copyright isn't an issue given some of the demos we've seen so far :D

Ideally a clone of a classic arcade game like Dig Dug, Galaxian, Robotron 2084 or Missile Command.

I was running through the tutorials and the screen tutorial gave me an idea. I shall make the bouncing dvd logo and have a counter that will increment when it does hit the corner!

I'd like to make a clone of duck hunt, by using the joycon like a gun. I'm not totally sure if it can work but it'd be fun !

The very first game I ever played was Choplifter on my cousin Apple II. I want to build that.

I kinda want to try making a few different kinds of games. One idea in particular stands out, though: A platformer starring my OC. (I figure with the tools available, this should be possible...)
