I am a retired school teacher and counselor. My favorite class was called Far Out Science. It was a free form class where each student could choose what he wanted to learn within the STEM subjects. Programming was always one of the student's favorites.

I still delve into teaching. Extra curricular project based teaching is still on tap. I hope to use Switch Fuze, the Raspberry Pi, Interactive Fiction and robotics to get the students engaged and into science.

      Jeff

@jlgreer1 That sounds amazing! Welcome aboard! I am a massive fan of interactive fiction. Have you tried the inform compiler for creating games? Absolutely incredible bit of software.

I'm sure it'll be fun & infuriating all at the same time!

I promise you it is both of those things :)

Anyone know what time it will be available to purchase. It's afternoon on the 30th in Australia currently. On the estore here it says it comes out today. I've never paid enough attention to switch store to know if the store uses timezones etc.

It is morning here in the US. I have a long weekend and hope to be able to experiment.

                Thank you, Jeff

I was just able to purchase Fuze through the Nintendo store in the US. 20 more minutes to download then the fun begins.

Been playing with it for a few hours now, I'm quite scared at how much I have to learn but it's incredibly exciting too and the community and devs are so helpful and friendly!

@SteveZX81 It's a lot to take in but what I would reccomend is take it one byte at a time (get it?). I am finding that if I do 1 or 2 tutorials a day and stay dedicated to that schedule that I am able to retain my knowledge gained while also starting fresh each day so things don't get mixed up in my head (the number of lessons you can do a day may vary from person to person so just find a schedule that works for you and stick to it :) ).
