      Some small updates, "slowly" adding detail to the view, changed from static ships to animated (just tiny things like rotating rader, bow waves etc. makes it nicer)

      Not sure about the clouds, they might stay or be removed.

        Small update: some colour added to the water, torpedo display, torpedos angle as they head up screen (looks like they are going into the distance) and simple splashes added.

                      Working on the sinks sinking anims and explosions (sadly I simply cannot create a 'decent' explosion so I've nicked an asset one. yes I feel ashamed!)

                            Minor update. been spending a lot of time trying to tidy and sort out my horrible code, before I start adding new stuff.

                            • removed the old animated torpedo display. I didn't feel it fit the game
                            • added a new torpedo display panel and created a custom font (sadly my art style sucks so it's the best I could do)

                              Another update. seems small but I quite like it. The torpedo display is now working when you fire.

                              also, if I'm spamming to much here, just give me the nod and I'll cut it down ;)

                                Some sound effects added
                                ships can now be hit and sunk
                                torpedo trails shorten and fade with distance

                                        Tankers cannot but other ships will be able to attack you and also aircraft will drop depthcharges etc.

                                            Working on the ship sinking animations right now.

                                            This is barely worth mentioning tbh but I'm using it as an excuse to post so I can give a huge "Thank You!" to Pianofire and Martin for helping me with a problem that drove me batty! (I still actually don't know what the problem was, but it's working now so all is well).
