      Hi all,

      If you haven't seen my 'introduce yourself' post, I'm Paul from SwitchedOn and I'm going to aim to make weekly vids on Fuze on my channel.

      Before I really get stuck in, I have a few basic (not BASIC lol) questions that I'm sure are easy to answer;

      1. Is there any persistent data saving options. maybe not as grand as a database, but for example if I wanted a persistent hi-score table in a game, is that possible?

      2. How much content is getting shared? I assume you can only see your 'friends' apps? Will there be a way to share with non-friends (but within the app) a bit like Mario Maker for example?

      3. I read something about a fairly sizeable update to Fuze4 being released soon? Has that hit yet or still on the horizon? Anything I should wait for before getting in too deep?

      I think that's it for now!

      Many thanks for any help :)

        1. There is currently a very simple single text file that can be written to and read from. I did an example here of how to save and load variable length data: https://fuzearena.com/forum/topic/70/hints-and-tips/19

          Awesome thanks!

          Any plans for anything grander down the line if needs be?

            @SwitchedOn There are always plans!

            1. Content is currently only shareable via Friend Codes in the next patch which is awaiting Nintendo approval it will be possible to share programs globally by a code but this will be subject to our approval (we will review programs and either allow them to be shared or not)

              Now THAT is superb.

              Already got friends in my Discord getting excited about Fuze and that question came up - how the sharing works and I think the 'friends only' thing deflated them a bit.

              Curated content is going to be hard work for you guys though??

                1. The next patch (0.2.14) has the update above and also big changes to the map and image editors and map functionality. It will be hopefully be available soon but it is out of our hands

                @SwitchedOn Probably but it needs to be done

                  @pianofire straight on it with the vital info as always.

                  We're ready to take on the work! It's necessary, as @pianofire says. The potential for how much it opens Fuze up is just too big not to do!

                        Hey Paul love this idea and just as a suggestion could you do a video on creating and using sprites @pianofire has a great list of sprite properties I feel would make a great start to a video about building a simple video game
